English version
Hello to all IPA members around the world,
In October 2014, the IPA Quebec region, Canada section inaugurated the wine bottle holder also known as the "ambassador". The wine bottle holder was conceived and fabricated by the executive committee of the IPA Quebec region Canada section. The wine bottle holder is constructed of metal chain links welded together, representing the primary goal of the I.P.A, that is, friendship. The chain links have been assembled on a wooden base of carved pine.
The objective of the "ambassador" is to visit each and every chapter of the I.P.A., throughout the world. We would like it to travel around the world, as a symbol of the friendship that we all share.
All members who travel with the "ambassador" confirm that they have been very warmly received by every chapter visited: so why not bring as a visitor gift, the "ambassador" with a bottle of wine from your country. All members of the I.P.A can request the wine bottle holder to bring it with him/her and remit it to the chapter being visited.
And good news, at its inaugural, the "ambassador" was taken by Mr. Robert Boulanger of the Montérégie, Québec, Canada. At the 2015 AGM held in Niagara Falls (Toronto), the national executive comity as unanimously approved the motion put forth by Region 08. It is important to note that the motion was second by our founder Rev. Charles R. Wright. The visit was short because a few weeks later, the "ambassador" left for the Ontario, Toronto, Canada with Mr. Robert Pyefinch. On July 17th 2015, the ambassador will leave the region 08 Québec, Canada with Valérie Savard to fly to Pologne. We would ask each member who travels with the "ambassador" to send us an e-mail with a photo, if possible, so that we can follow its trail. Thus, we will be able to send an update to all chapters of the I.P.A around the world. Further, if a member wishes to travel with the "ambassador", we would know its current location. The goal of the "ambassador" is to unite us; if it is to promote friendships, it must not sit on a shelf.
Don't forget to affix your logo on a tag!
Ask the "ambassador" at your region!
Thank you for your participation. We are all aware, of your continued implication and commitment.
The members and the executive committee of I.P.A Quebec region 08, Canada section.
